International Song Tao Charity Foundation’s Blood Donation Campaign was held on 25th & 26th July 2020 at Orange Atrium, Sunway Pyramid. Before the event start, all the committee and volunteers are briefed on flow and what are the SOP that need to comply by Dr. Mohd Redzuan.

The blood donation event start at 10 am and as we are still in RMCO phase (Recovery Movement Control Order), all donors and volunteers need to wear mask all the time and temperature are taken. Donors that came for the blood donation event are filtered first; to make sure they are not having flu, cough or sore throat.

After registration, the donors will have their blood tested and the pressure taken to ensure they are in a good condition to donate blood. Every donor that successfully donated blood are given some light refreshments (bread and milk), certificate and homemade cookies as a gratitude.

Through these 2 days event, we manage to collect 174 bags of blood which equivalent to saving 522 lives. (1 bag of blood can save 3 lives). We are happy that through this event, we manage to raise awareness that individuals can save lives and improve the health of others by donating blood.
