{Back to School 1.0}

Many thanks to all members and volunteers of International Song Tao Charity Foundation for participating in Back to School 1.0 held on 29 December 2019.

Getting ready to start a new term is an exciting time for the children. Unfortunately, not every child gets to experience the excitement as their family might not afford to buy them school supplies. International Song Tao Charity Foundation is collaborating with SJK(C) Tiong Hua Kok Bin and SJK(T) Methodist school to provide the children with school supplies such as bags, uniforms and shoes.

At 9:45am in the morning, all participants gathered at Pusat Pakaian Hari-hari in Meru, Klang. The two schools mentioned each selected 20 students for this programme through which they were provided with new school supplies.

Upon arrival at the meeting point, Ms Lee Si Yin (assistance of Vice President) briefed the volunteers on their job scope and things to take notes on.

We hope to get more volunteers to join us in our future events to reach out to the needy and spread the love. We welcome all good Samaritans to provide more care and give back to the society.

A simple act like goods donation or money donation to unfortunate family or children, can make them feel loved and appreciated by the society. “Children are our future – Let’s give our future a good start”.
