Beach cleaning (environmental cleaning) is one of our foundation’s activity to raise awareness on protecting our beach and marine life.

Our beaches are the bridge between the land and the ocean and the ocean is the home to the marine habitats. Unfortunately, Malaysia has been ranked the 8th worst polluters of mismanaged plastic waste in the world.

The viral video that took over the internet of the sea turtle with a straw stuck in its nose, and no one knew exactly how the straw got there but it is definitely not pleasant nor easy to remove. Animals do not know that the shiny candy wrapper or plastic are not meant to be eaten. They can be easily be mistaken as a fish or a piece of kelp. If ingested, our trash can cause harm to marine life.

There are ways to prevent this from happening to our ocean creatures and marine life. By keeping our beaches trash free, we can help to protect and preserve marine life.
